Understanding AI-Based Compliance Data Extraction

Our AI automatically scans social compliance certificates and audit reports and extracts key compliance data. This helps you assess supplier compliance faster and more consistently.

After extraction, the system compares the data against your configured requirement rules and automatically flags potential compliance gaps.

What the AI Extracts

For supported social compliance documents, the AI can extract:

  • Audit scheme and standard (e.g. SMETA 4-pillar)
  • Audit type (e.g. Announced, Unannounced, Partial, Full)
  • Grade or audit result (e.g. Platinum, Fully compliant)
  • Audit rating (where applicable)
  • Total number of non-conformities (NCs)
  • Types of non-conformities (e.g. clause and issue title)

This information is then used to evaluate compliance according to your requirement rules with compliance checks enabled.

How It Supports Compliance Checks

When compliance details (such as audit rating, non-conformities, or audit type) are included in your requirement rules:

  1. The AI extracts the relevant metadata from the uploaded document.
  2. The system compares it against your defined criteria.
  3. Compliance status is updated automatically.

This reduces manual review time while ensuring consistent and rule-based supplier assessment.

If you want to use compliance checks, make sure your requirement rules include the relevant compliance fields.
