Linking Organisations

Linking organisations allows you to connect with buyers and suppliers in the Simvia network. Once linked, organisation information stays synchronised and shared documents can be reused automatically.

How link recommendations work

Simvia suggests links when identifiers from two organisations match.

These recommendations help prevent duplicate organisations and ensure companies connect to the correct partners.

Reviewing link recommendations

To review link suggestions:

Go to Dashboard → My tasks → Review link recommendations.

You will see organisations that may match your company.

Click Link & Sync to confirm the connection.

What happens after linking

Once organisations are linked:

  • Organisation details stay synchronised

  • Updates such as names, identifiers, and contacts remain aligned

  • Duplicate organisation entries are avoided

If the linked organisation is a PRO organisation, you may also be able to view and reuse documents they have shared publicly.

What information is shared

When organisations are linked, the following information can be synchronised:

Organisation details

  • Company name

  • Organisation type

  • Country, address, city, and postal code

  • Phone number

  • Email address (when an exact match exists)

Unique identifiers

All identifiers added to your organisation, including certification and programme IDs.
