Summary
- Added a new product supply chain view to manage suppliers more easily and to create focus
Improved visibility and status logic for product activation, deactivation, and removal across supply chains. - Added warnings and validations when making impactful changes to products.
- Improved filters, modals, and searchability (Type to Search and Search by Identifier option)in supply chain views.
- Better handling of inactive or unreachable organizations in product logic.
Functionality Improvements
Product Details / Supply Chain Page
- You can now see and manage the supply chain for a specific product in a dedicated view. This view allows you to add, remove, activate, and deactivate organizations more clearly.
- A new Add Organisation modal now includes a search function by identifier, making it easier to find and add the right organizations.
- Users will now receive warnings when removing a product from an organization that has active suppliers to help prevent accidental supply chain breaks.
- When activating or deactivating products from the portfolio view, all connected supply chains are now updated automatically for consistency.
- A new "Out of season" status chip was added to show when a product is not in season for an organization. This helps with filtering and better reflects seasonal availability.
- The unreachable icon now takes into account the portfolio product when dealing with product nodes, improving visual clarity across requirement views.
Organisation Page
- The product statuses shown now accurately reflect the supply chain structure, aggregating status from all related supply chain positions.
Supply Chain Activation / Deactivation Improvements
- When a product is inactive in all supply chains for an organization, it is treated as inactive globally — no requirements will be generated for it.
- When all supply chain nodes for a product are deactivated, the product is marked as inactive across the board. It will be reactivated automatically when a single node becomes active again.
- Supply chain logic is now smarter about parent-child organization relationships. A modal asks for confirmation when removing or deactivating the last active product, ensuring you don't accidentally break the chain.
- Deactivating an organization do not deactivates its products by default, and vice versa — the statuses are now handled separately.
Requirements & Requests
- Requirements are only removed when an organization is fully inactive across all supply chains.
- For product-specific document requests, only the relevant document providers in the product supply chain are checked — improving request accuracy and performance.

Summary
- Improved control for removing, activating, and deactivating organisations and sub-suppliers within supply chains.
- Clearer guidance and tooltips to help users understand each action's impact.
- Supply chain logic now consistently applied in both views and imports.
- Document requirements now follow updated rules for shortest distance and active status.
- When using filters like “Inactive” or “Spot buy,” the view will automatically expand all relevant rows to show matching results—no more manual uncollapsing.
- You can now activate or deactivate organisations on both the global level and the supply chain level:
- On the supply chain level, deactivating a parent does not deactivates its sub-suppliers in that specific chain.
- On the global level, all positions are affected—if the organisation is globally inactive it reflects across both the flat and supply chain views.
Functionality improvements
Supply Chain Management in Organisations page:
Manage Supply chain option
- Activate/deactivate button - Activation and deactivation buttons will now appear only when relevant—if a row cannot be changed (e.g., already inactive or not allowed), the action is hidden or disabled
- Remove from here button - Organisations can no longer be removed if they are direct suppliers in their only tier 1 position, or if they are orphans with no contact and no supply chain connection. Added a "Deactivate Here" button in the Remove Organisation from Supply Chain popup to prevent accidental deletion of the entire supply chain.
- Add Sub-suppliers button - You can now add sub suppliers from the supply chain view
Edit organisations
- The Spotbuy and block buttons are now moved under Edit organisations option .
Global deactivation
- A global deactivation warning is shown when the org is part of a supply chain
Renamed "Add organisations" action
- The “Add organisation(s)” button is now labeled “Create organisations” with improved dropdown labels for better clarity and usability.
Tooltips for deactivate, remove, and delete actions
- Each key action in the supply chain view now includes a tooltip explaining what it does, so you can make better-informed decisions.
Inactive Filter - Inactive organisations are now hidden by default, reducing visual clutter. You can still reveal them using new filter options: "Inactive only" or "Inactive and active".
Create Organisations in Bulk
- Organisation imports now use the “Direct suppliers” column (renamed from "Is supplier of") and follow the new supply chain relationship rules. A tooltip is available for clarity.
New snackbar message when reactivating organisations
- When an inactive organisation is added to a supply chain, the system confirms that the organisation was both added and activated via snackbar notification.
Search by identifier option
- The search by identifier now behaves consistently with the organisation list, making it easier to find and add the right sub-suppliers.
IN other parts of application :
Supplier Intake Update:
- When a supplier intake is submitted, organizations in the intake are now added as sub-suppliers only to the supply chain path where the document provider is the root, avoiding addition to other paths where the provider appears
- When reviewing sub-supplier intake, any matched or linked organisation—whether inactive or active—will now be set to active under the new supply chain.
Document preview update
- The "Add from supply chain" option now displays all sub-suppliers linked to the selected organisation, instead of only showing direct (tier 1) sub-suppliers.
