Release Note #1 - Supply chain management, automatic archiving of expired documents, and product portfolio improvements - August 2025
Dear Simvia user,
It has been a while since our last update, but we have made a bunch of updates to the platform! These include improved supply chain management, automatic hiding of expired documents, and product portfolio improvements.
Manage your supply chain more accurately - no more archiving!
Mapping your supply chain just got more accurate and intuitive. Instead of archiving, you can now activate or deactivate**organisations, either globally or within the context of a single supply chain. Adding or removing sub-suppliers works like that too. This release sets the stage for our upcoming product-specific supply chain feature, but you will hear more about this in future updates.
Benefits:
- Keep your supply chains up to date and accurately reflect real-world status.
- Avoid inefficiencies by managing only what’s relevant in each supply chain.
- Ensure automatic requests go to the right organisations, at the right time.

Automatically hide expired documents
Tired of expired documents cluttering your view? With our new automatic archiving feature, you can now set rules to archive expired documents. You’ll find the settings for this under the new Documents Settings section in your Company Settings. Archived documents are still accessible via a new “Include Archived” toggle on the Documents page, giving you full control over what you see and when.
Benefits:
- Keep your document views clean by auto-archiving expired documents.
- Easily access archived files when needed via the new toggle.
- Enjoy improved sorting with new nested sorting options on the Documents page.

Improved Product Portfolio
We’ve refreshed the Product Portfolio page. You can now find it directly in the top navigation bar for easier access. We’ve also added powerful new filters, which you can save into custom views tailored to your workflow. Last, you can now activate or deactivate products to ensure that only the right requirements are created.
Benefits:
- Managing your products is faster and more flexible.
- More control over product requirement creation.
