Release note #13 Supply Chain Updates - June 2026

Dear Simvia user,

When did you last verify your supply chain? Organisations change, relationships end, and new ones start, but your supply chain in Simvia often doesn't reflect that. You might be sending requests to suppliers you no longer work with, or missing organisations that have been added since your last season.

That's exactly what this new Supply Chain Update functionality is designed to solve.

Supply Chain Updates

You can now request a Supply chain update from any supplier and have them update and confirm their supply chain directly — across multiple tiers, outside of a document request.

Suppliers receive a request that includes their current version of their supply chain in your Simvia account. They confirm what's still correct, update what's changed and after they’ve submitted you can review everything before you accept the update of your supply chain.

How it works

  • Suppliers can edit their supply chain intuitively via our system or import via Excel
  • You receive a full overview of everything that has been added, changed or removed before accepting the update.
  • Conflicts in organisation details and removals are flagged automatically
  • Organisations will be automatically deactivated if the supplier doesn’t work with them anymore.

See it in action

Watch the demo below to see how to easy it is to sent a supply chain request , and how simple it is to answer and review.
