Release Note #3- Several platform updates - September 2025

Dear Simvia user,

We’re happy to share several new updates designed to save you time, improve data quality, and make collaboration even smoother. For each feature, we’ve also created short demo videos available in our Help Center—links included below.


Regions will now be filled in automatically

When creating an organisation—individually or in bulk—the region will now be automatically detected and filled in based on the provided address details or those collected through our GlobalG.A.P. sync. In the coming weeks, we’ll also backfill regions for existing organisations in your account. This enhancement lays the groundwork for upcoming improvements in water risk compliance powered by location data.

Benefits:

  • Regions auto-fill during organisation creation, reducing manual work
  • More accurate data supports better regional reporting
  • Stronger compliance checks thanks to region-based requirement rules

Supplier-specific product identifiers

Product naming just got easier. You can now add the exact names or IDs that your suppliers use, ensuring they instantly recognise products in your requests. Our Public API will soon support this functionality, helping you integrate seamlessly with your internal systems.

  • Supplier-friendly requests with clear product IDs
  • Reduced back-and-forth communication and fewer misunderstandings

Coming soon: You’ll also be able to add supplier IDs directly when bulk-adding products, making setup even faster.

Easily switch between different company accounts

It’s now possible to join multiple Agriplace company accounts with a single email address and seamlessly switch between them—no need to log out and back in. Whether you manage several Agriplace accounts yourself or collaborate across teams, switching is now easy and fast. You’ll find your accounts listed in the Company Overview page under Settings, where you can select which account to use for your requests.

  • Improved setup for collaboration across organisations

Easily identify and fix organisations you cannot contact

Sometimes requests cannot be sent out because an organisation does not have a contact person or is not linked to a supply chain with one. With this update, these organisations are now clearly flagged with an orange icon next to their name. You can also filter them for faster resolution, either directly from the Dashboard or the organisation list.

Benefits:

  • Instantly spot unreachable organisations blocking requests
  • Clearer status updates compared to the old “no contact” icon
