Release Note #6 - Transition to the new GLOBALG.A.P. (Agraya) platform - October 2025
Dear Simvia user,
GLOBALG.A.P. will launch its new platform (Agraya) on Monday, 3 November 2025. To align with this, SimviaSimvia
will transition to the new system on the same day.
During this time, temporary downtime may occur for GLOBALG.A.P. data updates. Our team will monitor the transition closely and resolve any issues as a priority.
🔄 Key Changes
- The current GLOBALG.A.P. database will be phased out upon launch
- From 3 November 2025, the new Agraya supply chain portal will be used exclusively for search and bookmarking.
- Simvia exports and public API will now include latitude and longitude for re-certified producers who have provided coordinates.
- On Monday, 3rd November, your private bookmarking credentials must be re-entered in Simvia using your new Agraya credentials.
- If you already had GLOBALG.A.P. credentials before July 2025, new Agraya ones should have already been sent to you.
- If you registered with GLOBALG.A.P. after July 2025, you will have not received Agraya credentials yet. Please contact them at customer_support@agraya.com to request your credentials.
📅 Timelines
Friday, 31 October
- Certification bodies will no longer be able to enter data on the old GLOBALG.A.P. platform.
- No new or updated data will appear in Agraya or Simvia.
Saturday, 1 November
- Agraya begins migrating data to the new CertifyOS & Supply Chain Portal, expected to finish by Monday morning.
- Temporary data inconsistencies may occur as Agraya resolves migration issues.
- Simvia will begin updating our data structure accordingly over the weekend.
Monday, 3 November
- The Agraya platform goes live (estimated 08:00 CET)
- Simvia releases the new API connection once Agraya confirms their system is live.
- By default, public bookmarking will be enabled and begin retrieving data from Agraya.
- If you use private bookmarking credentials to access restricted supplier data or add-on certificates, please wait for Simvia’s release notes before reconnecting.
- Once the release notes are sent, you can re-enter your private bookmarking credentials in Simvia:
- Go to Account Settings → Connections → Connect GLOBALG.A.P. Bookmarking.
- Enter your new Agraya Supply Chain Portal credentials.
- Early setup will place you in the priority queue for data fetching
- Credentials can only be added from 3 November onward due to Agraya’s weekend migrations.
- Simvia will begin re-fetching all organisation and certificate data. This process may take several hours - or a few days - depending on Agraya’s API speed and system performance.
Monday 4 - Friday 7 November
- Data re-fetching will continue throughout the week.
- Existing GLOBALG.A.P. documents will remain visible, but the Connections tab in your organisation's details pages will be empty until the new data syncs.
- If certificates appear missing, check the Agraya Supply Chain Portal directly.
- If data is visible there but not in Simvia by 7 November, contact support@simvia.com
⚙️ What You Can Do Now
- If your internal ERP relies on GLOBALG.A.P. data from Simvia, consider pausing automated updates or monitoring closely during the transition.
- To access private bookmarking data, ensure you already have your new Agraya credentials ready to enter on Monday, 3 November.
- The new connections will work as it does today in Simvia, without private bookmarking credentials, your account will default to public GLOBALG.A.P. data only, limiting access to restricted supplier information and add-on certificates.
- If you haven’t received credentials, contact **customer_support@agraya.com to request them.**
