Supplier FAQ: Agriplace is becoming Simvia

 

Agriplace is transitioning to Simvia on April 2nd. This change reflects our growth beyond primary agriculture to support the wider food and grocery supply chain.

This FAQ explains what this means for you as a supplier.


What is changing?

  • The name Agriplace will change to Simvia

  • You will see a new logo, colours, and branding

  • Emails and platform communication will gradually use the Simvia name

  • The platform URL will change to a Simvia domain (with a transition period)


What is not changing?

  • The platform you use remains the same

  • Your login details stay the same

  • Your data, documents, and history remain unchanged

  • Workflows, requests, and requirements continue as usual

  • Your relationship with your customers remains the same


Do I need to take any action?

No action is required.

You can continue using the platform as you normally do.


Will I still receive requests and notifications?

Yes.

You will continue to receive document requests and notifications as usual.
The sender name and email address will gradually change to Simvia, so please make sure to recognize the new branding.


Will emails still work?

Yes.

During the transition, both Agriplace and Simvia email addresses will work to ensure uninterrupted communication.


Is my data safe?

Yes.

All data remains secure and unchanged. The rebranding does not affect your information in any way.


Why is this change happening?

Agriplace has grown to support the broader food and grocery supply chain, including processors, manufacturers, and retailers.

The name Simvia better reflects this broader role and future direction.
