Understanding Compliance Overview
The Compliance Overview helps you monitor document compliance across your supply chain. It shows which documents are available, missing, expiring, or expired, based on your requirement rules.
This overview is your main tool for identifying which suppliers and documents require attention.
What you can do in the Compliance Overview
With the Compliance Overview, you can:
- See compliance statuses for all suppliers in one place
- Identify documents that are missing, expiring soon, or expired
- Check whether requirement rules are being fulfilled
- Drill down into available documents for a specific organisation
This makes it easier to prioritise follow-up actions and stay compliant.
Required documents and available documents
The Compliance Overview contains two main views.
Required documents
The Required documents view combines your organisations with the document statuses that apply to your requirement rules.
Each status gives a clear indication of what needs attention:
- Valid: Documents are up to date
- Expiring soon: Documents will expire shortly
- Missing: No document is available
- Expired: Documents are no longer valid
If you hover over a status, you can see which documents are required for that organisation.
Slashes or dashes in the overview indicate that no documents are available for that category. This means the supplier does not have documents that fall under that requirement.
Available documents
If you want to review the documents you already have from a specific organisation, switch to Available documents.
Here, you can select an organisation and see all documents that are currently available for that supplier, independent of requirement rules.
Understanding colours and symbols
The Compliance Overview uses colours to quickly show document status:
- Green: Valid
- Grey: Expiring soon
- Orange: Missing
- Red: Expired
These visual indicators help you spot issues at a glance.
Customising the Compliance Overview
You can customise which categories and requirement rules are shown in the overview.
Adding and managing columns
Use View options and then Columns to:
- Add requirement rule columns
- Remove columns that are not relevant
- Adjust the overview to your internal standards
Renaming categories
You can rename column headers to match your own terminology.
For example, you can change a category name like Food Safety Certification to a custom label that better fits your internal processes.
You can also add or remove document types within a category to fine-tune what is evaluated.
Make sure to save your changes to apply them.
Using the Compliance Overview effectively
To get the most value from the Compliance Overview:
- Review it regularly to identify expiring or missing documents
- Use colours and statuses to prioritise actions
- Switch between required and available documents depending on your task
- Customise columns so the overview matches your compliance framework
By maintaining this overview, you keep control over supplier compliance and reduce the risk of missing or outdated documentation.
