What Data Is Shared When Linking Organisations

When you link and sync with another organisation in the Simvia network, specific company details are automatically shared and kept aligned between both accounts.

Organisation Details That Are Synced

The following general information is copied and synchronised:

  • Company name
  • Organisation type(s)
  • Country
  • Address
  • City
  • Postal code
  • Phone number

If one of these details is updated by the organisation, the change is automatically reflected in your account.

Unique Identifiers That Are Synced

All registered unique identifiers are also synchronised, including:

  • GGN
  • PUC
  • SEDEX Company Code (ZC)
  • SEDEX Site Code (ZS)
  • SIZA
  • IFS
  • BRCGS
  • QS Location ID
  • QSN
  • RFA
  • SKAL
  • FLO
  • BSCI
  • PHC
  • FSSC 22000
  • Planet Proof
  • Other registered IDs

This ensures both parties work with the same verified certification references.

Email Visibility

In some cases, you may see the other organisation’s email address.

This only happens when the email address exactly matches the one entered in your organisation details. If there is no exact match, the email address will not be displayed.

Access to Public Documents

After linking and syncing:

  • You gain access to the organisation’s public documents.
  • Public documents can be automatically retrieved when sending requests.

This reduces unnecessary document requests and prevents repeated email communication.

Linking and syncing ensures consistent organisation data and smoother collaboration across the network.
